The Technical Department of CPS uses last generation 3D CAD/CAM and simulation technologies by engineering processes, solutions, technologies and services with the aim of continuously improving the quality and reliability of the components made, reducing operating costs and limiting their environmental impact during their entire life cycle.



Manufacturability and Producibility

Starting from the customer’s request for the supply of a specific component for specific industrial fields, CPS carries out a detailed analysis of manufacturability and producibility with the aim of determining through an in-depth engineering process of the design and production systems, the technical and economical feasibility, sustainability and ease of manufacturing and production.

Each aspect of manufacturing and production engineering becomes integrated part of the entire analysis. Engineering and designing decisions regarding production cycles, tooling, fixtures, production machine maintenance and downtime, packaging and shipping are taken into account in order to improve the entire life cycle and environmental impact of the component.


Quality control

CPS Quality System is certified according to ISO 9001:2015 and uses metrological stations equipped with three-dimensional measuring machines with 5-axes capabilites and all the necessary tools for dimensional and visual inspection of the components produced, in particular the Zeiss Bridge Coordinate Measuring Machines to perform measuring tests of large parts.

Extensive covered and uncovered surfaces together with all the necessary equipment for heavy duty handling are available in CPS for loading, unloading and storage of the machined components.
